Emad MAMUN Ezzibdeh M.D

Biography and Clinical Interest

A graduate of the Jordan University of Science and Technology Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Ezzibdeh completed his training in Germany, where he became double-board certified Urologist.

During his training, he practiced general Urology with a focus on Endourology and minimally invasive surgery. After working as a consultant urologist in Germany, he moved to Belgium and continued on to finish a fellowship in Endourology and Laser surgery. His clinical interests include the care of patients with urinary stone disease, benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH) and those in need of minimally invasive surgery. He specializes in the performance of endoscopic, laparoscopic, and percutaneous surgeries.

His previous research experiences have included investigating approaches and outcomes to urethral reconstruction as well as HoLEP Surgery where he presented his work at several German, European and International conferences.
The journey in Urology has been a rewarding one that has allowed him to experience various parts of the world.

What is Urology?

Urology is a surgical speciality that deals with the treatment of conditions involving the male and female urinary tract as well as the male reproductive organs.
The disorders that may be treated by a Urologist include those involving the kidneys, the adrenal glands, the ureters, the bladder and the urethra.
In males, we treat disorders of the testes, epididymis, vas deferens, seminal vesicles, prostate and penis.
